Hello family and friends!

We are so happy and excited to share our special day with you! We have created this website to keep everyone updated with the information that will be useful while we plan our wedding. Please visit often, as we will be adding more information as we get closer to the big day.  We have people scattered all over the country, and we know you all have busy lives. It means so much to have all of our family and friends loving and supporting us.

After starting a new job and becoming friends with one of her coworkers, Shannon was invited to hang out and grab some drinks and sushi.  This was the first night she met Garrett.   He was very involved in a Ducks game and didn’t look up, stand up, or shake her hand, when she arrived.  He will never live that first meeting down.  It was a fun night but they didn’t really hit it off until foul ball mishap at an Angel's game two weeks later!   Soon the calls and texts turned into dinners and dates.  From trying to convert Garrett to an Eagles fan, to him trying to teach Shannon how to surf….who would have thought a Beach boy and Philly girl would be such a perfect match.    They have had a blast together; They make each other laugh and fall more in love every day.  Garrett never ceases to surprise her with his romantic gestures including a well thought out and executed proposal in Ireland.  They are so thankful their friends and family will be there to see their love celebrated when they become Mr. and Mrs.  Garrett Thaxton.

On the beach

WECOME PARTY FOR ALL GUESTS

Welcome party aboard the 85 ft. catamaran, Sori Goombay.

Playa Conchal (The Beach in front of the Westin Resort)

Time:  2:00pm to 6:30pm

Please be on the beach by 1:45 pm

What to bring:

Towel

Sunblock

Sunglasses

Bathing Suit

Camera

What’s provided:

Cocktails and snacks

Swim vests, “noodles”, snorkeling equipment

Suggested Dress is Swim Suits and Casual

SATURDAY – MAY 10, 2014

Wedding Ceremony

On the Beach

Play Conchal in front of the Westin Resort

Time:  5:00pm

Please be on the beach at 4:45 pm

Followed by Cocktail Hour, Dinner, Dancing and Celebrating at the Caracola

Suggested Dress is Beach Chic - sand between the toes elegant.

We are staying at The Westin Spa & Golf Resort Playa Conchal.  You can stay there for your whole trip, just a few nights, just the night of the wedding, or not at all.

This is an all-inclusive hotel so all drinks (alcoholic too) and meals/snacks are included in the price of the room.

Airports:  Liberia or Tarmindo
